Clark’s beach Hey! Are you Excited! We are going to Clarks beach! It was on Thursday the 17 March, St Patrick’s day. We had cars to go in but I all ready knew Which car I was going into because my mum was helping. We were all excited. The names of the people in my mums car were Jacob, Saula, Maximus and me. On our way we went past my house. When we got there we had a little play. Then we went to the end of the beach. Jacob saw little fish and one kingfish by the bricks. We kept walking up the beach. We were starting to sink into the sand. Next we started to see lots of crabs and sea Anemones. I saw seven chiton and a couple of small top sand snails. At the end of the day I felt stuffed. www.voki.com
Green Chiton
Chitons are covered with thick skin. Their scientific name is Chiton glaucus. They live on rocks, under water. They can grow to about 35mm long. Anemones can eat Chitons, as well as crabs and starfish. There are lots of colours and sizes there are Girdle Chiton, Green Chiton, Brown Chiton, Snakeskin Chiton, Etched Chiton and the Noble Chiton. The things that can harm Green Chitons are people, Crabs, seagulls and birds that live on the sea shore. Green Chitons are middle sized crustaceans that live on New Zealand’s rocky shore.
