Hermit crabs

Hermit crabs are a type of crab. Crabs are crustean. Its scientific name is pagurus sp. Crusteans have an armoured body. Hermit crabs live in empty shell of other sea creatures. When they grow out of the shell they go to get a new one. They have 10 legs and 2 eyes. We can find them in a rock pool. Hermit crabs eat other parts of dead sea creatures. Sea gulls eat hermit crabs. Hermit crabs are cool to learn about.

Wolf’s Sunday dinner

This is a story about a wolf who went to find some dinner. all he found was a little goose. So he tried to make it fatter, so he could eat it. Then he went to get some food. When he was going to just eat the goose, he fell asleep. Then the goose found his mum.
I recommend this story to 7 years old that have a sense of humour.

You will need…a pencil, and paper.
  1. Draw an overall.
  2. Put a triangle in the overall.
  3. Under the triangle put a circle.
  4. Under the circle draw a star.
  5. Underneath draw a star draw a sparer.
  6. On the other side draw a smiley face
  7. Lift the flap and compeer.

The technology challenge
Last windy Thursday the middle team walked to the big school, to the technology challenge. When we got there we got showed what to do, the materials which where newspaper, tape, string and scissors. We had to make a ball, a net and two bats, and then we stared making it. First we made the ball. Then the bats. Last of all we made the net net. Then we tried it out, I had a good time doing it. I had a fantastic time.
